IN MEMORIAM PROFESSOR STELIAN NEAGOE 1949-2014

Abstract

The University Professor of Anorganic Chemistry, who built his professional pyramid after graduating the Anorganic Chemistry Section of Polytechnic University in Bucharest (1967-1972) left us unexpectedly. Between 1972-1976 he functioned as researcher in the Alimentary Chemistry Research Institute (ICA) in Bucharest, from where he left in 1976 to be employed as assistant at the “Oil and Gas” University from Ploiesti. Successively, after obtaining his PhD degree in 1983, he became a lecturer in chemistry, Associated Professor in 1990 and Full Professor in 2004, occupying the Inorganic Chemistry chair until 2014.
