Abstract

AFLD pathogenesis is partially known. In determining AFLD stages there are implied insulin resistance, magnitude and pattern of lipid deposits, lipid hepatic metabolism (synthesis, storage, β-oxydation use, elimination), oxydative stress, synthesis of cytokines and adipokines.
